The Rider Cup gives crews of skateboarders the opportunity to skate alongside their mates and compete against other crews. Several crews are already pre-qualified from KDC Skate For Hope events that took place around South Africa earlier this year. The rider cup qualifiers at the Kumba Skate Plaza gave teams one last opportunity to qualify for tomorrow’s final.
Several crews entered, including a crew from the island of Reunion called Alosta, who unfortunately just missed out by grabbing 5th place. The top 4 qualifiers going into tomorrow’s final are:
