KDC is stoked to announce their partnership with Ultimate X for the second year in a row to bring the first KDC Grand Slam Regional Qualifiers of 2016 to Cape Town! It’s all going down on 27 February, 2016 at the Grandwest Casino Arena in Cape Town and we can’t wait to give away some cash prizes and send the top 5 skaters and top Rider Cup team to the South African Championships and Rider Cup Championships at Kimberley Diamond Cup this October.
Ultimate X is an invite-only contest, and thus, there will unfortunately be no open entry for the Open (Ages 14+) and Rider Cup Divisions for this event. The Rider Cup contest will include the top 4 placing teams from last year’s Rider Cup Championships at Kimberley Diamond Cup.
Additionally, there will be no TopGrom (13-) Division at this event. We will be returning to Cape Town later in the year (date TBA) to host our Skateboarding For Hope event which will yield 5 wildcard entries into the TopGrom Championships at KDC.
