#KDCAfricanTour Social Media Feed

Last week, the #kdcafricantour came to an end in Johannesburg after a 10 day skate excursion across Swaziland, Mozambique, and South Africa. While our phones were unable to connect to the internet for the majority of the trip, we still managed to hop on Instagram every now and then to show everyone what we were up to. In case you couldn’t afford data earlier on in the month, we’ve compiled a quick post of all the Instagram photos and video clips that you missed out on.

You’ll have to wait a few months for the full scoop in Session Skate Mag and AV Skateboarding, but we did manage to snap a few photos that are higher than iPhone quality that you can see on our site next week.  Be on the look out for more behind the scenes photos from the KDC African Tour in South Africa, Swaziland, and Mozambique.

The tour officially started in Pretoria at Menlyn Skatepark. Spice and the gang get involved with the Skateboarding for Hope presented by Vans clinics.

The crew wasted no time as Juan, Trae, and Anton went right into business on the bank to wall.

Alan and Khule start things off on a good note and take 1st and 2nd, respectively, in the skate contest. Anton even came up on R500 for that blunt nosegrab he put down on Menlyn Skatepark’s huge bank to wall.

#kdcafricantour has officially begun and Anton Roux is already coming in hot with the weirdness. Catch us tomorrow at Menlyn Skatepark in #Pretoria for #skateboardingforhope presented by @vans_za #kdcskate

Puddy’s house is any skate rat’s dream. Perfect mini and a nice area for the homies to braai and chill at. Here’s some clips of Trae and Puddy on his ramp.

Khule chillin’ with the dragons in Swaziland.

A taste of our short time spent in Swaziland. A few good spots matched with beautiful scenery.

Elisio has shown a few crews around Maputo over the years and he was kind enough to take the time to show us around as well.

Anton isn’t scared to toss his skeleton far ‘n long. Here is the aftermath of his bravery.

Our session at this dried-up waterslide was short lived, but we made the most of it. Here Joubert takes some time off of filming duties to try this backside flip.

@khulengubane at the backpackers flossing his 620 meticais, which is the equivalent of about R200. We put some dents in the furniture at this place every night after the sesh.

Here’s a few clips from the #Maputo #mozambique skatepark featuring Alan Marola, Khule Ngubane, Juan Smit, and Anton Roux.#kdcskate #kdcafricantour

Big ups to Craig, the driver of the KDC African Tour. Craig put up with way more than he could have imagined and did it with a smile.
