The total purse for each event is R50 000, and the top 5 (previously unqualified) placing skaters in the street contest in each age division earns an automatic spot in the TopGrom SA Championships and the KDC South African Championships at the Kimberley Diamond Cup in October. In the Rider Cup, 12 teams of four skaters each compete in a single elimination, head-to-head bracket format contest.
