KDC is stoked to bring back one of SA’s favorite skate events for another weekend of camping, good times, and incredible skateboarding.
Midway Mayhem, the 2nd KDC Grand Slam Regional Qualifier of 2016, offers 5 spots to the top 5 previous unqualified skaters in each the TopGrom (ages 13-) and Open Div. (ages 14+) to advance to Kimberley Diamond Cup in October. Additionally, the top Rider Cup team composed of 4 skaters will advance to the Rider Cup Championships at Kimberley Diamond Cup. Matched with a huge prize purse, it’s safe to say stakes are high at Midway Mayhem! Other categories for Midway Mayhem include Women’s Street, Vert, and Best Trick.
Camping is FREE at the Kumba Skate Plaza on Friday 6 May and Saturday 7 May with toilet facilities and accessible braai stands on site, so no need to stress about accommodations! Just bring your camping gear and rock up. See you there!
